“Mr. Cutler had been hired, independently, by several of my clientele to perform DJ services for their high school events. On each event, here at the hotel, he was always courteous and cooperative to myself and to my banquet staff. He arrived within plenty of time to do a thorough set up with special attention paid to safely taping down all wires, etc. He was also absolutely within the hotel’s noise abatement policy and did not have to be reminded of such. “DJ David crushed it at our wedding. We gave him about 20 songs as a template and he filled in the rest perfectly. He kept people on the dance floor all night. One the one occasion that a song didn’t work, I gave him the cut sign and he mixed in the next song flawlessly. There were more than a few people that came up to my wife (that’s still weird to say) and I and asked how long we had known David. I thought that was a great compliment since we had only met him a few months earlier. He did a great job keeping the flow of the event moving and made sure the reception was about us and didn’t steal the focus at all.

Durning the planning, he was quick to respond to emails and was able to have a Skype meeting with us to discuss a few things. He uses DJ Intelligence to let you select the songs you need. It was a great way to give us the ability to be hands on while picking the music for the event.

“We used David for our wedding in May and were very happy with our choice!

As our wedding was outdoors (and might I add pretty far away in Ramona), my husband and I were not looking for the whole fancy uplighting, cake spotlights, etc. We just wanted someone who would emcee the event, play the music we wanted to hear, and be able to read the crowd if needed. David did a great job of playing our requested songs along with a variety of songs our guests enjoyed. Even though I had to leave the dance floor when the Backstreet Boys came on, at least some of our guests enjoyed it!

“What a party we had! Lots of things go into a wedding or event, but the DJ is a make-or-breaker. Everything else can be right, but if the DJ is poor, the event doesn’t come off. If you want to take that variable out of your concern, hire Dave. Firstly, Dave has a terrific knowledge of music, current and past, and a good instinct for the crowd. The dance floor was crowded literally all night - and we had a small crowd. Dave truly payed attention to the requests and planning we made prior. We wanted some pretty specific 70s and R&B music with videos. More than understanding specific requests, he worked to understand the vibe and energy we wanted to create. He searched out old videos, made lighting suggestions, and enjoyed the process with us. Once the reception starts, the night really is up to the DJ at that point. You will be in the right hands with Dave. (BTW, rent a video wall. Big add to the party and fun; your guests will love it.)”
